Brownies meet every Thursday night in the large church hall from 6,15pm - 7.30pm. Any girl between the age of 7 - 10 years who would like to join in the fun will be made welcome, just come along to see us or join via the girlguiding website - https://girlguiding.org.uk/information-for-parents/register-your-daughter Please pick 2nd Cumnock brownies when asked which unit you prefer.

Eva, Olivia, Katie and Daisy received their Brownie Silver Award (unfortunately Olivia was ill on the night and couldn't be there to accept her award)
Katie was our runner up to best brownie and Daisy received the Betty Hoffin Shield for best brownie.
At our award night Brownies were presented with a special biosphere badge. This was provided by Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Organisation. The girls had to complete two activities from 3 different topics to gain the badge. We incorporated the six activities into our programme and it meant that they also received their Take Action - Make Change Skillbuilder.
Our Brownie Trip this year was to Ayr. Our intention was to go to the playpark and then go to Pickmeupplates to paint a plate however due to the weather we ended up going to Pirate Pete's instead and then on to our painting session. A great day was had by all.
While at the Heritage Centre the County Commissioner presented Reece Wilkie and Andrea McKissock with their 30 years of service to Girlguiding awards. Well done Reece and Andrea
Rainbows, Brownies and Guides all visited the Cumnock Heritage Centre. The Brownies are using this visit as part of their Collection badge and also their Biosphere Badge.
Emilie and Rosie were recently awarded their Brownie Gold Award, the highest badge achievable in Brownies. They had to complete 6 theme awards, go along to the Rainbows to tell them about Brownies. Rosie also made a unit recipe book and Emilie organised a special meeting where she brought her guinea pigs along. Well done girls we are very proud of you both.
We went with the other Rainbows, Brownies and Guides in Cumnock to Ayrshire Hospice to sing some Christmas songs to the patients.

Welcome to our newest brownies who have recently made their promise.
Another activity the Brownies had to do in connection with their Live Smart skillbuilder was learning to hammer in nails and screw in screws, they had a great time.
The Brownies are doing their Live Smart skillbuillder and one of the activities is creating something using kitchen utensils. Our Brownies made pizzas.
